Whether it be weight loss, smoking, fears, sleep or other changes you’re ready to make, I can assist you by helping you think differently! Here’s how hypnosis works…..
About Hypnosis
The uses for hypnosis are really only limited by one’s own mind and what one thinks is possible. Working with your subconscious mind using hypnosis deepens and accelerates the process of experiencing healthy, lasting results. Furthermore, working with yourself at this level puts you back in touch with your inner self, and reconnects you to whom you essentially are beneath the self-limiting beliefs and years of negative subconscious programming and conditioning.
Be the master of your health and well being!
Hypnosis is the ability to convince yourself of anything. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. It’s your ability, not mine. I’m your coach with special skills to help you convince yourself of anything.
Anyone who is willing can be hypnotized. In a nutshell, hypnosis can generally help with any problem you’re finding hard to handle on your own – thoughts and actions you’d like to banish or acquire, or emotional suffering that is too overwhelming or has gone on too long. Some physical problems can also be treated effectively by hypnosis. I can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do, and I can’t force you into a trance.
There is overwhelming clinical evidence in favor of hypnosis for a wide variety of conditions.

Live a Better Life Today!
Whether you want to lose weight, stop smoking, or be less stressed, hypnosis can help. In fact, with hypnosis we can alleviate fears, misperceptions, or limit beliefs so that you can live with a new sense of optimism. We can’t change the past, but we can change how you feel.
The Conscious and Unconscious Mind
The four laws of the mind state that life is FARE. What you put into it you get back, also known as the law of attraction. That means what we focus on becomes our thought pattern which turns into an image we associate our thoughts and feelings with. Repetition of these thoughts and feelings become our behavior. We have now trained our mind to believe them and as a result we expect certain things to happen. Enough of the same results adds up to your destiny, which becomes your I am or your self-image. Now it’s in control of your behavior. Our goal is to change your self- image. Your mind works like this, the unconscious mind stores your life scripts/programs and beliefs. There’s a filter between your conscious and unconscious mind. Through the relaxation technique, I’m going to teach you, you’ll be able to open the filter to tap into your unconscious mind, and with your permission I will give you positive hypnotic suggestion.
Model of the Mind
Lasting results are experienced by deepening the healing process by working with the mind, body, and emotions. The subconscious cause of a problem or imbalance is released, and resolved in a gentle, yet powerful and direct way. Hypnosis brings the whole-self into the life change and healing process. Hypnosis is capable, in most cases, of producing lifelong results in a mere fraction of the time normally required by traditional therapy or counseling methods.
Hypnosis is an empowering way to experience healing and positive change. Hypnosis doesn’t exclusively focus on isolating, solving, and fixing a person’s problems. Healing takes place during a session, and the approach goes well beyond the “problem-identification mindset” that so often keeps people from experiencing the very results they would like to experience in their life. Hypnosis is part of a larger process that supports empowerment, inner healing, lasting change, and transformation.

People who have never been fortunate enough to experience the benefits of hypnosis typically have similar questions when considering it for the first time.
Some Frequently Asked Questions about Hypnosis:
How many sessions will I need:
Typically it takes 3 months to make sustainable change. There are many variations depending on your goals. We’ll go over that in your consult.
Can I be forced into trance or be made to do things against my will?
No. Hypnosis is a 100% consent state. Your subconscious mind is always in complete control when you are in the theta state, and it can only take suggestions that it is given in the best way. You can’t be forced to do or say anything while in trance that you wouldn’t do outside of hypnosis.
But what about those stage shows I’ve seen with people acting foolishly?
It’s true that people will follow commands under hypnosis, but those participants volunteer to get up on the stage and agree to do what the hypnotist tells them. Listen carefully to see how the hypnotist asks for this agreement. If he doesn’t think someone will be cooperative, he’ll ask them to leave the stage.
People are asked to do silly things, but if the requests went against someone’s true values, they wouldn’t cooperate – and remember, the show is meant to be funny. It’s also quite common that there are “plants” in the audience that will help the comedian/hypnotist look good, and there are people who will fake being in trance in order to make the show, or themselves, more entertaining.
Does it really work and is it guaranteed?
There are thousands of documented cases where hypnosis has been successfully used for pain management, used to ease stress, in dental issues and childbirth, in helping the underlying conditions of irritable bowel syndrome, sleep problems, losing weight, smoking cessation and more.
A hypnotist can provide no guarantees. Because you’re a participant in the process, your desire for a solution to the problem and your willingness to participate in the process are critically important to its success. You’re the one who’s in control and the hypnotist is there to guide you. As with any professional from whom you seek assistance, you should seek a trusting relationship and have confidence in the person’s ability to assist you in meeting your goals.
Can everyone be hypnotized and how does it work?
Everyone can be hypnotized if they’re willing. Contrary to what you’ve seen in the movies, no one can hypnotize someone against their will or ‘make’ them do anything. If this was possible, we’d really be able to make the world a better place!
We simply help you physically relax and become mentally alert, and through words and tone of voice guide you into the theta or trance state, called somnambulism, where your subconscious mind is able to eliminate negative thoughts and habits and receive positive suggestions that will assist you in achieving your desired goals.
Am I asleep and will I remember anything?
You’re not asleep. Sometimes hypnotists use the word sleep, but in hypnosis it means a deep state of physical and mental relaxation with a heightened sense of awareness. You’ll hear things going on around you, they just won’t seem very important. Everyone is different with what they remember.
Some may choose to take a break from my voice and do their own thing for awhile, but the subconscious mind is always listening. Some people may emerge, or ‘awaken’ from hypnosis thinking that it didn’t work because they remember so much – and of course, that’s exactly what is supposed to happen! We may even have you open your eyes and talk, and all the while you’ll still be in trance. All of this is perfectly normal.
Will it work the first time?
Do you practice medicine or psychotherapy?
No. We aren’t doctors or psychological counselors, and do not treat or diagnose any physical or mental health problems. We will never suggest that you discontinue any prescribed treatment or medications, as that’s for a medical doctor to determine.
If you’re being treated for a medical condition, we require that you get a referral from your doctor. We may coordinate with doctors or therapists concerning issues such as pain management, reducing stress, changing habitual patterns such as smoking and overeating, and other habitual or behavioral issues.
To clarify even further:
Psychotherapy means the diagnosis and conversational treatment of mental disease.
Hypnotherapy or hypnotism means the use of trance and suggestion to adjust habits of thought, feeling, and behavior.
I’ve tried everything, what makes you different?
Do you accept insurance?
Do you accept credit cards?
Will it work even if I’m exhausted and feel scattered?
I’m currently on antidepressants and/or anti-anxiety medicine, will that matter?
I don’t like the idea that someone can control me.
